Last week, when I was walking back to the 18th tee after hitting my drive 30 yards out of bounds, I started thinking:
How will our new “Groups” tool truly impact me? The 4 reasons I came up with probably pertain to you as well…
1. Organizing a round of golf requires more back-and-forth communication than the game Marco Polo
We wanted to create a simple way of telling your 10 or so golfing buddies, “I want to play Saturday morning and need 3 people to join me.” All your friends will get notified, the directions are crystal clear, and they can decide if they are in or out. Simple!
2. Not all of my pictures and thoughts are meant for the masses
When I get that golf itch on a Wednesday afternoon and would do anything to be on the golf course… I tend to express those emotions in a way that isn’t meant for the public’s eyes and ears. Just a select few golfing buddies

3. I’ve always wanted a place to ask local golfers a variety of region-specific golf questions
This is a big one for me. I know a lot about the 5 courses I typically play, but next to nothing about courses I travel 45+ minutes to play. There is an official group for each state, so email [email protected] if you’re interested in joining!
4. Texts and emails clutter my life, I need a place to simply talk golf with my golfing buddies
GolfMatch in general accomplishes this, but there is something to be said for having a private group within GolfMatch that can replace texts and emails. I’m sick of searching through inboxes to find my golf-related conversations!
**Bonus** – Win free stuff!
GolfMatch is giving away a TaylorMade M1 driver to one lucky group admin and a $50 PGA Tour Superstore gift card to each member in that lucky group…on November 1st!
